The Point has a dock, covered pavilions for picnicking, it's green and treed with swings and slide in the middle, a narrow paved "road" (no center line not wide enough) goes around, waterfowl, two blue heron, Canadian geese in the winter (big 'uns) that fly in every morning (they think they're big 'honkers' but I think they're "bonkers.") It's small and comfortable, to human scale. Outdoor restrooms (closed during winter) You can buy bait next door at the City Dock.

I grew up down here fishing and got a lot of memories with my grandfather and its a good place for families to fish play on the swings and feed all types of waterfowl Ducks, geese, and even the fish if u want just lots of Wildlife and it's just a beautiful place
