Thank goodness for Dr. Sachs! Takes care of me and all my animals! Great facility.
For over 20 years, we have taken our cats and dogs to these vets. Dr. Meyers recently performed surgery on our dog who had suffered a serious injury. She treated her through a lengthy recovery and guided us on how to care for her at home. Dr. Meyers is also treating our 17-year-old cat with thyroid problems and works with us, exploring our best options. She is most capable and her love for animals shows. Dr. Taylor has surgically removed cysts from our cat's facial area, leaving no scars. He is also a caring vet and with his years of experience is top of the line. The office staff works under a lot of pressure but are very efficient and always courteous and helpful. I highly recommend this group because of their love for animals and the fact that their prices are so much more reasonable than others.
Only place I'll take my animals absolutely love this place. Great prices they work with u and really understanding. They also have a number u can call forgetting ur animals nuetered and spayed cheaper.
BEWARE... PLEASE consider using another vets office. The office staff has Always been rude every time I call or have an appointment. I recently boarded my dog here while I was away on vacation. When I called to make the appointment the receptionist was very rude. When I went to drop my dog off I ask the receptionist, a different lady than the one who took my call by the way, can I see the area where my dog will be boarded and was very rudely told NO I could not. Then she yells we got a boarder and this guy came out and said "Oh no!". That did not give me a peace of mind to leave my dog with these people. I called to check on her, as she did experience very bad separation anxiety. Every time I called they said she was fine and was eating. My mom went to visit her while I was away to check on her. Then on Sunday morning, we received a phone call informing me that my dog had passed away in the night and they had no clue why. I waited for a return call for over 2 hours and had to call them back again to make arrangements to pick up my dogs body. When I arrived at the office I told the receptionist, which was neither of the 2 rude ladies before, that I was here to pick up my dogs body. She ignored me and continued to clean the desk then finally goes over to get the file and proceeds to tell me that I owe them $150. I immediately ask for all medical records for both of my pets. I was told it would take an hour and a half before the records would be ready. There were about 15 pages of records to be copied. There was only 2 customers other than myself in the building. I spoke with Dr Sachs and explained my concerns about the rudeness that I have experienced for years from the front desk staff. His reply was" well you will have to Dr. Taylor about that because he is the owner and he is out of town." I ask him if he could relay the message to Dr. Taylor and his response was, "It won't do any good". I then ask him directly if they had any other complaints on the customer service from the front desk staff and he said yes on ALL 3 staff members. And that people have complained for years." I wish I would have thought to ask him why he, as a vet, would choose to be employed at an establishment that would not have concern about their customers experience. Not one time did I hear we are sorry for your loss or receive any empathy or sympathy from Dr Sachs or anyone in that office. I will say my dog did see Dr Cynthia Myers for heart worm treatment years ago, and she is very good with the animals and people. If you love your pet and want the best for them and yourself, please consider spending the extra $ for them to receive the appropriate care and love that both the patient and paying customer need. RIP KAYA, you will never be forgotten!
I went to drop off my dog this morning to be neutered, the lady at the front desk was very rude and not friendly at all. I simply asked how much the distemper shot was to go along with his rabies he was getting and she wouldn't answer, and refused to give him one. Why she didn't, I don't know but there was no reason for him to not have the opportunity to have received one. Said he need proof of previous vaccines but this would have been his first distemper shot and he was getting his rabies the same day. I will definitely not be returning here ever!!! Very very rude staff!!!!!
